This is my Pilot Notes and the starting point for the Revision Notes for the Pilot Exam for UK hang glider and paraglider pilots. The notes have been gleaned from lots of sources and will hopefully give you all the information for the revised BHPA Pilot rating exam.

NB: the definitive work for the BHPA Pilot exam, is the pilot book done by the BHPA.

Graham Taylor

Website History : Graham developed this website way back in 1997. At that time, there was no one source for the information, so because he had collected it he thought it would be useful for others. He last updated it in 2004.

Graham died on 9th May 2007. He was a passionate flyer and I have updated the website in his memory.

He was involved in coaching and doing the winter lectures for the Peak Soaring Association and Derbyshire Soaring Club as well as being magazine editor for both clubs over the years. The downloads page includes pdf versions of his PowerPoints as well as the notes he distributed. For those who are equally passionate, there is also a PowerPoint for Advanced Pilot.
